In 1995 The MedPro Maine vision began while I struggled as a single mom through my own college experience at the University of Southern Maine School of Nursing and working as a CNA/nurse's aide. I needed to repeat some of the advanced science courses and the Dean of the nursing department even suggested I switch to an easier program. I began thinking about how to innovate a more supportive online learning resource for future students like myself, with the much-needed flexibility and encouragement to also accommodate a student's job and family responsibilities. Soon after graduation and re-entering the healthcare field as an RN, I was saddened and disappointed with the workplace chaos and disconnection between employers, employees, and patients.

I went back to school for a master's degree in business management to help materialize my goal for the improvement of healthcare employee job satisfaction, a higher quality standard of patient care and strengthening the healthcare industry as a whole. It all began to materialize in 2020 when a blessing of opportunity to train residential healthcare staff dropped into my lap.

Today, I provide staff training for over 60 residential care agencies in Maine.

MedPro Maine unifies administrative workflow systems, staff training, and resident education to strengthen residential care throughout Maine.

My secret sauce is an integrated teaching/learning approach: "a well-trained team with self-esteem".
